He was among those banished to Opatow in December 1939; in June 1942 he was deported to the Skarzsko - Kamienna camp; he worked in the A camp in a munitions factory; scant provisions; the arrival of inmates from the Majdanek camp and work in Camp C; the camp's inmates going to Czestochowa; working conditions in the camp, punishments, and the liberation.
