Jews on a street in the Warsaw ghetto.
Photographed on Gesia Street.
In the photo: several people can be seen wearing armbands. Some are listening to the "public radio" -- loudspeakers mounted on the street that broadcast German propaganda. Ghetto residents called these "Szczekaczki" [Polish: barkers].
This photo was among the "Oneg Shabbat" Archive documents recovered after the war.
