A hut on the grounds of the Auschwitz camp.
This structure was erected at the request of the notorious SS soldier Oswald Kaduk.
A plaque [in Polish] posted at the site by the Poles explains that Rapportfuehrer Oswald Kaduk (responsible for attendance reporting), a murderer and sadist known for his abuse of inmates, requested that a building be constructed for his use as a shelter from the rain during the daily roll calls. The building was equipped with a gong that would mark the beginning and end of each roll call.
