Members of the Dror - Young Borochov youth movement training commune in Miroszuw. These were youngsters who were taken care of after the war by the "Coordinatsia". The training farm was located at a place on the Polish - Czech border, from which the youngsters were to continue by way of the "Irgun ha - Bricha" to Palestine. The training commune was purported to be an agricultural school. In the photo: Shoshana Gershoni (standing, second from the right), Zusia Erdman (standing, on the left), Frenja - Frida Lipszyc (on horseback, on the left). The man standing on the right is one of the training instructors. The young man on horseback is named Josek.
1) The Koordynacja ("Zionist Coordination") was an organization in postwar Poland which located and took care of Jewish children who had either been living with Christians, in hiding, with the partisans, or returned from the USSR.
