Jadwiga Dzido - Hassa, a Polish woman, was interned in the Ravensbrueck camp. Nazi doctors performed so - called medical experiments on her and an additional 74 Polish women. The wounds were intentionally contaminated, then the resulting infections were treated with sulfa - based drugs.
