Amelia Langer from Poland, the survivor of a death march, hospitalized after the liberation. She came from Bielsko - Biala. Note: On May 5, 1945, an infanty unit of the American army liberated 118 survivors of a death march. The survivors were liberated at Volary in the Czech Protectorate, after having marched more than 700 km from January 29 through May 5. Many of the survivors died just after the liberation.
